Office Information

At Barg Family Clinic, Patients come first.

That’s why we strive to accommodate new and existing patients with flexible appointments times and offer walk-in services for lab work and injections during certain hours.

ARRIVING AT THE CLINIC

New Patients

New patients should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. For your convenience, all new patient forms can be downloaded, printed and completed prior to the day of your appointment. Or you may complete the forms once you arrive at the clinic. In either case, please make sure to bring your insurance card with you to the clinic.

Existing Patients

We ask our existing patients to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. If any of your patient information or your insurance has changed since your last visit, please inform our receptionist so we can update your records and make sure your insurance is file with the appropriate carrier.

PAYMENTS AND BILLING

Payments for Services

Payment is requested at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made with our office. This includes co-pays and deductibles that have not been met. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We will be happy to file insurance claims, but co-pays and deductibles that have not been met are due at the time of service. Please be prepared to show your insurance card EACH visit.

Billing

Arkansas Physician Management Inc. (APMI) handles our billing, insurance and collections. APMI allows you to pay online or by other means. They also answer all questions about your billing and insurance. The APMI Customer Service Department is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at 501-224-1690.

MEDICATION REFILLS

If you need to refill a prescription, call our office at 501-224-5220. Please allow two (2) business days for refill requests for pain and ADD medications.

HOSPITALIZATION

Adult Patients

Our physicians do not make hospital visits for adult patients, but work with highly-qualified specialists called hospitalists. A hospitalist is a physician who sees patients in the hospital on behalf of family practice physicians.

If you require hospitalization, your physician at Barg Family Clinic will contact the hospital on call and explain you situation before you are admitted. The hospital will monitor your hospital care, ordering tests, medication and necessary treatment and inform your personal physician of your progress. Once you are discharged, your physician at Barg Family Clinic will resume providing your care.
